Working Dog Living History Display

Dave Little

As part of an historical display, we are looking for working dog equipment of the World War II Period, especially as used by the U.S. Army from 1942 through 1945. A little known unit in Colorado trained dog teams for rescue, pulling, combat assistance, and cargo hauling where mules wouldn't go. These working dogs played a little known part in the vast War Effort, and we are trying to add their story to the display.
