I though this camera was great. I got it at about $35 and is was a great value.
The picture quality was better then I expected for a fixed focus camera. Even when moving around the focus and picture quality is very good. I think the glass versus plastic lens makes the difference. Sometimes it gets a little choppy but that is on Skype to Indonesia and still with good picture quality.
The only downside for me was the Microphone. Using my other microphone, a cheaper, for what ever reason provided much better sound for Skype then the one in this camara. This is the only reason for the 4 rather than a 5 star rating.

This webcam is really great and easy to use. The only issue I have with it is that it does not clip onto my computer very well. It takes a bit of adjusting to get it where I need it without it sliding down or falling off. But once it is in place it works really well.
