 Easy Portable Adjustable Gate November 23, 2009

We love this gate. When our little one was a crawler, we used this to keep him in a single room. Now that he is a walker, we use it to keep him off of the stairs. I have also moved it outside as a deck gate. It is easily adjustable and pressure mounted so drilling is not necessary. The downside is that you have to climb over it to get past it. But that is to be expected with this type of gate. I like that it is oversized and can be easily adjusted to be shorter or longer. This has been a great gate for our family.

This is a GREAT gate! It extends to fit my 60" opening and stays snug. I do not worry my daughter will push it over. The price is unbelievable for a gate this size. It folds ultra compact and comes with a travel bag. It's a bit too tall for a suitcase, but I plan to stick it in with the pack n play. I highly recommend this gate if you have a larger opening and do not need a door. No gate is attractive, I don't care what you say, so don't be turned off by this look. Having any gate takes away from the look of your home. At least with this one you have some extra money in your pocket.

While this gate is primarily designed to be a travel gate I purchased it b/c it fit uniquely in the space I needed blocked off. I have had no trouble with the gate. It breaks down easily and comes with a carrying back. Good buy!

I use these gates in 3 places in my home... I love them! Easy to set up, very secure, and low enough to walk over for adults. My son can see through them, so he does not worry when I am out of the room.

We purchased this gate to block of a rather wide entrance leading out of our family room to the stairs. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase. At first I have to say it was the most confusing gate to set up, I definitely needed the manual to figure it out but after doing it a few times I got the hang of it. It is super sturdy which suprised me since it is a portable pressure mount gate but neither of my big boys (twins 16months) can knock it down and boy have they tried. I also love the color as it fits perfectly with our decor, neutral tones. It is nice looking even though it is mesh/fabric and the price is GREAT too! It does take a little while to set up but we just leave it up now b/c we have another way to enter/exit that has a hinge gate. It would be nice if you needed it to travel too as if folds in half and then again and comes in a carrying case that would make it easy to stow in the car or pack for the plane.
