Product Description Endocrinology's #1 single-source reference updated to reflect the latest diagnostic testing and important new approaches to medical management A Doody's Core Title ESSENTIAL PURCHASE! 5 STAR DOODY'S REVIEW! "This book, one of the best endocrine textbooks, manages to be comprehensive but not overwhelming. Since various aspects of clinical endocrinology have changed in recent years, a new edition is certainly warranted. I would recommend this book to anyone with an interest in endocrinology."--Doody's Review Service Basic & Clinical Endocrinology, 8e is a concise, single-source reference for the entire field of clinical endocrinology and the underlying basic science. Richly illustrated with 330 illustrations, this trusted guide is written by clinicians and researchers drawn largely from the University of California, San Francisco, one of the nation’s most respected endocrine divisions. | Customer Reviews: best endo book around December 11, 2009 Kimberly A. Fields (san antonio, t) This text includes info on some things such as tests that are difficult to find elsewhere. It is easy to read and understand. My favorite endo book and most trusted resource.
A good, friendly-written textbook March 13, 2009 Alvaro C. P. Negrao (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Greenspan's has the basics: it is well written, the information is accurate and the ratio price/value is worth buying. Experts will probably be keen on recommending it for neophites and it will surely be a fair advice.
Not a brand new one as it said January 22, 2009 Jie Liu (VA, USA) 1 out of 13 found this review helpful
the book is ok but not a brand new one as it said it is! It's a false ad.
But with its lower price than others, it's accetible.
Useful text August 9, 2008 M. McMann (Houston, TX USA) 2 out of 7 found this review helpful
This book is a very useful basic text in endocrinology. I use it as a reference in my work.
