School Textbook December 24, 2008 Kira L. Varisco (Lafayette, LA, USA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
We used this book as a textbook for my midwifery college. The information within the book is easy to understand and well written. Some points in the book are somewhat vague, so I do recommend combining this book with other sources (such as Dr. David Miller's webcast on FHR, or other books or videos). Overall though it is an excellent resource!
Excellent pocket guide October 28, 2008 Jen G (PA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is an excellent, compact book with everything you need to know about fetal monitoring. Fantastic pathways, clinical guidelines, and examples of EFM strips. Wording is clearly defined, and is the most up to date according to NICHD guidelines. This handy little book is small enough to keep in your pocket while working in the hospital unit. Great for nurses, students, midwives, and physicians!
