Great series. Once I started reading, couldn't stop. Read all eight books in a week. Since I only buy paperbacks, I guess I'll have to borrow book 9 from a friend. Don't think I can wait until it comes out in paperback next year. Wonderfully entertaining story line and characters. Love Bubba from Memphis.

Ms. Harris is an excellent writer. Her Sookie Stackhouse series, on which the "TrueBlood" TV series is based, is incredibly imaginative and well-written. Don't bother if you're squeamish, a sexphobe or lack a flexible, imaginative mind.

I'm 25 and I am an avid reader. This series held my attention non-stop. It is a very well written and interesting story. I don't think children under the age of 16 should be reading it, cause of its graphic nature, but I think its just an amazing story!
