Product Description
In this witty, easy-to-read story, children learn what bacteria is, how it causes tooth decay, and how they can fight against it. Told from the point of view of the bacteria, this fact-filled, rhyming text shows dentists in a friendly way, helping youngsters guard against tooth decay.

5 out of 5 stars Love it   December 24, 2009

I am a senior dental hygiene student and we had to find a children's book to write a lesson plan on for an elementary school class and this is the one I chose for my project. The book rhymes and is fun and easy to read. There are vocabulary words in the back as well. The book uses reverse psychology on the reader due to the fact it is from the perspective of the bacteria. They are pleading with the reader not to brush, floss, or go to the dentist. It also gives kids an idea on what is going on in their mouths when they are not brushing. I loved this book so much I bought another copy for my niece.

5 out of 5 stars funny and motivating!   November 20, 2008

My five year old is sometimes a lazy brusher. Now I read this book with her before toothbrushing. Then I say "hey let's not brush tonight - let's let those poor bacteria guys have a party!" She yells "NOOOOO !!!!!" and proceeds to do an awesome and thorough teeth-cleaning.
