Product Description
On the front lines of the global war on terror, CIA superagent Mitch Rapp races to save one more life: his own.

An eye for an eye: that's what the powerful father of a dead terrorist demands in retribution -- and with his hate-filled plea, Mitch Rapp becomes the target of an explosive international conspiracy. The fearless operative has both killed with impunity and tortured to avert disaster, all in a battle to preserve freedom. But even among America's allies, some believe the time has come to bring Rapp down. Now the hunter is the hunted, and Rapp must rely on his razor-sharp instincts for survival -- and justice -- as he unleashes his fury on those who have betrayed him.

4 out of 5 stars Consent to Kill: A Thriller   February 8, 2010
Danielle M. Webber (Maryland)
I am a big fan of Vince Flynn and MItch Rapp. Filled with lots of action and suspense. This book did not disappoint.

4 out of 5 stars Yep, enjoyed reading about terrorists getting blown up...   January 2, 2010
Chris A. Paul (Tulsa, OK USA)
The second of Vince Flynn's books read, and rated higher than the first largely because of a wish that we really had a few Mitch Rapp types taking care of us instead of relying on Janet Napolitano.

5 out of 5 stars Vince Flynn is the Man!!   November 25, 2009
J. B. Jones (Boone, NC USA)
I loved this book! Flynn seems to get better with each of his novels. Some do not like all the detail he provides to set up the action, but I thrive on it. Flynn is a master at almost putting you into the plot, watching the action take place just a short step away. As a teacher of Political Science and International Relations for 34 years, I really appreciate the amount of research and back-ground work Flynn does for his books. First class!!

4 out of 5 stars A great "thriller" book   September 30, 2009
Harry M. Shin (Livermore, CA USA)
1. I've read several Vince Flynn books; all of which are good. However, this is the best one thus far (I haven't read them in order).

2. What else is there to say--> well written books, with a "24" type theme, that will be enjoyed by most.

4 out of 5 stars Predictible, but a fun read   September 24, 2009
Marilyn Fisken (Brier, WA USA)
This is my 2nd Mitch Rapp book, but it was predicible, in that as soon as the reader learns that his wife is pregnant, we know without a shadow of doubt what the author plans for the wife, and ensuing actions by Mr. Rapp (what a name!)- as in "Don't give a rapp). Also, somewhat unbelievable are the actions of the [...]'s partner after their attack on Mitch. Truly not believable in the context of prior activities of this pair. However, overall, the book was fun to read, but, please, leave his wife alone. What's next, marrying his CIA boss and becoming a step-father to her son, with whom he has bonded? That would also not be believable. Read with tongue in cheek and suspended most belief.
