Amazon.com Review If you were never introduced to the world of the original Myst, it's not too late to immerse yourself in this unique CD-ROM experience. The game begins on the island of Myst, a beautiful and strange setting in which you must determine how to proceed through a series of fiendishly clever puzzles and clues. Slowly, the purpose of your quest is revealed and it is up to you to determine which path you will follow as you navigate Myst island and its surrounding "Ages," separate dimensions connected by magical Linking Books.

I love it March 8, 2007 caseylynn (Illinois,USA) I got Myst years ago and then got a new computer that wasn't compatable with the game. I got another computer and the same thing happened. I love the game so much that when people ask me what I want I tell them Myst. Now I play the game over and over.
MYST- Sequel to Riven April 15, 2003 Tracy R. Ospring (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great Game! Graphics literally "take you there"! It's quite a challange but I loved every minute of it and hated when it was over.
Myst Rocked the Gaming Industry August 14, 1999 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Who would of thought that at a time of first-person-shoot-em-up games that such an intriguing game with no blood, death, or inventory would be such a hit? Perhaps it is the constant aura of mystery that glows about the Myst world....or maybe it's the detail and care in the puzzles and graphics...or maybe it's because it's just plain fun. Either way, I think that you and I will both agree, that Myst and it's sequel, Riven, are both works of art and will always be games to remember.
You will enjoy the book as much as the game. May 2, 1999 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I really like the book. I thought it was as interesting as the game. The only problem I have come across is that I can't put myst on my computer with windows 98. I would like to know if you have a solution for this. I would really like to master myst so I can go on to Riven which I also have. thank you Richard JohnsonP.S. Please Email me back.
Just play it! May 1, 1999 As my brother and I write this rewiew, we are haveing a great time remembering when we played Myst ourselves! Nothing compares with the feeling you get when YOU finnish one of the puzzles YOURSELF. We think that it also really helps if you play it with a partiner, because then you can disscus things between each other and pool your ideas, and make it a team effort! Also, the different ages are great and intreaging. In the words of my brother: "Channelwood is so great! It's like an Ewock villeage that you can walk through!" Need I say more?
