Product Description
In this updated third edition of the Atlas of Nuclear Cardiology, the editors have collaborated with over a dozen leading authorities to capture the most up-to-date and pertinent information in the field of nuclear cardiology. This four-color atlas includes detailed legends and extensive reference listings for hundreds of illustrations. Diagnostic algorithms and schematic diagrams integrated with nuclear cardiology procedures are generously interspersed with color images to emphasize key concepts in cardiovascular physiology and metabolism. Topics covered include nuclear imaging, myocardial blood flow, risk stratification, patient management, myocardial innervation, and many others. Imaging in the emergency department and atherosclerotic plaque imaging are examples of new topics covered in this edition. The striking, four-color format combined with the breadth of information it contains make this book an invaluable resource for physicians, cardiologists, and all professionals involved in the study and treatment of nuclear cardiology.

| Customer Reviews: great book July 2, 2009 Jonathan A. Freeman This is a great book for cardiology fellows, nuclear medicine residents, and general cardiologists who are interested in the field of nuclear cardiology. Easy read, discusses principles, physics, tracers, etc. This is the book recommended on the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. Highly recommended.
Great to explain difficult concepts August 28, 2007 M. H. Al-shaer (TX, USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this book during my nuclear cardiology fellowhip and I found it to be an excellent resource to explain some harder to understand concepts.
As with other books in the series it works as a concise text and a great review book.
