5 out of 5 stars Excellent for dental students   April 21, 2008
David Daniel
This book places everything you want to know in one place. Prior to getting this book it was extremely hard to study head and neck anatomy because you have to go back and forth from book to book to get all the info that is right in one place in this book.

5 out of 5 stars I wish I could give it ten stars!!!   April 2, 2008

Unbelievable book! I have never been engrossed so deeply into learning something so fascinating. The way he puts it all together just makes it extremely easy to become proficient with head and neck anatomy. This should be in every dentist's personal library and great for studying for boards.

This book has a great review of all head and neck structures. Wonderful pictures as always with Netter, and great succinct tables with review information.

5 out of 5 stars Must Have   May 4, 2007

This book is a must have for dental students!! Along with diagrams, it contains tables, and charts that explain origin and insertion of muscles and their innervation. The big edition of Netter does not supply the detail of information that is in this book. I Could not have survived 1st year dental school anatomy course without it!! Also gives instructions on nerve block anesthesia.

5 out of 5 stars Great condensed book for anatomy   March 11, 2007

This book is easily one of the best pocket books for anatomy for dental stuents you will ever get your hands on. There are those netter flashcards which are good and small, but they don't have nearly the amount of information that this book has. Kudos to Norton for putting this together along with new illustrations from other artists, and this book also includes anesthesia and good detailed drawings on the nerve blocks in the mouth. Lots of tables and functions, etc.

I liked to carry this book around with me while I was doing random errands, like standing in line at the bank or when I was just waiting around before class, etc. It is a great reference.

Also includes some great clinical cases which as a dentist you will likely encounter at some time in your practice.
