Amazon.com Product Description Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Baby Wipes are made with your baby, and your environment, in mind. Unlike conventional baby wipes, Seventh Generation Wipes are not bleached with chlorine, and don't contain alcohol, fragrance, or synthetic ingredients that may irritate baby's sensitive skin. Completely Natural Cleaning for Your Baby Every caregiver wants what's best for their children and the world they will grow up in. Studies show that children are disproportionately affected by daily exposures to toxic chemicals. But caregivers often had to choose between products that worked and products that were healthy for their baby and the planet. Until now. When chlorine and chlorine derivatives are used in industrial processes (such as bleaching paper and wood pulp), they produce substances called chlorinated hydrocarbons, which persist in the environment, accumulate in animals and people, and can be toxic to human and environmental health. The production of chlorine can also release the toxic metal mercury into the environment. These baby wipes are made with all-natural ingredients, including water, Polysorbate 20 (a cleansing agent derived from sugar), glycerin (soothes and cleanses skin, vegetable-oil derived), citric acid (provides stability and pH balance), potassium sorbate (a natural preservative), aloe barbadensis gel (helps heal skin), and tocopherol acetate (Vitamin E acetate, helps heal skin). Hypo-allergenic, whitened without chlorine bleach, unscented, and alcohol free, Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Baby Wipes offer are perfect for around the house. About Seventh Generation Seventh Generation offers a complete line of natural household products designed to work as well as their traditional counterparts, but use renewable, non-toxic, phosphate-free, and biodegradable ingredients as often as possible, and are never tested on animals. Seventh Generation products are healthy and safe for the air, the surfaces, the pets, and the people in your home--and for the environment outside of it. Every time you use Seventh Generation products you make a difference by saving natural resources, keeping toxic chemicals out of the environment, and making the world a safer place for this and the next seven generations. Amazon and the manufacturer are happy to offer this item in easy-to-open Frustration-Free Packaging. A Frustration-Free Package comes without excess packaging materials such as hard plastic "clamshell" casings, plastic bindings, and wire ties. It's designed to be opened without the use of a box cutter or knife and will protect your product just as well as traditional packaging during shipping. Products with Frustration-Free Packaging can frequently be shipped in their own boxes, without the need for an additional shipping box. Learn more about Frustration-Free Packaging.

LOVE These wipes! November 16, 2009 S. Okamoto-Knutson (Poway, CA) I have been using these wipes for over 2 years now and love them! I like that they come in individual closable packages. I keep one the car, one in the diaper bag, one in the portable toddler potty we keep in the car, and one in the kids bathroom. They are durable and I use them for everything from wiping bottoms to scrubbing off stains on clothes, wiping down the inside of the car, and cleaning dirty hands and faces after the park.
And they don't smell all "chemically".
Perfect for our needs November 7, 2009 B. Williams (Oregon) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We love this product. Our newborn daughter developed a terrible diaper rash when we used other wipes -- even expensive ones that were supposedly natural or for sensitive skin. Within a day of switching to these wipes her rash started to improve and she hasn't had any problems since. I would give it 5 stars but they are a bit expensive - although Amazon has the best price that I have found. I know other reviewers have complained about the smell but I haven't noticed any smell. If someone is looking for a basic cheap wipe and don't care about the chlorine free/natural aspect then this is probably not the wipe for them. It is exactly what we needed!
They've added Sodium Benzoate! Ugh. November 4, 2009 S. Tolbert (Yardley, PA United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I used to like these. I wasn't pleased with the recent "pay the same for fewer" change, but I let them come on subscription anyway. Now I realize they've changed more than just the packaging... They've also changed the ingredients. These now contain sodium benzoate as a preservative, something my son is sensitive to. So, we've got 840 wipes we can't use!! I've got to decide whether to go through the hassle of returning them (and paying return shipping) or just to donate the whole case. And then, of course, I have to track down a new wipe that my son's sensitivities can tolerate. And we're almost out! Ugh. I wish Amazon had alerted us to both product changes, not just the size difference.
disappointed in the smaller count per package November 1, 2009 Elle (United States) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I would normally give this product 5 stars but am disappointed in the decrease in wipe count while charging the same price. I switched to Earth's Best.
Happy and sad October 26, 2009 KareBear (Moline, IL) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was excited to find the Seventh Generation Baby Wipes at a great price on Amazon when I started using them back in 2008. I only wanted the best for my baby. But, over time the price has gone up and the amount of wipes per package has gone down. These are great wipes but I cancled my subscription and am upset with Seventh Generation. I would have given 5 stars otherwise but as they continue to change that continues to go down.
