1 out of 5 stars Good light but not for a Kindle   November 22, 2009
Jeff De Luca (RI, USA)
It's hard to believe the number of positive reviews for this device. It is in no way designed for a Kindle. It opens FAR wider than needed for a Kindle, but most importantly the CLIP AND BASE ARE FAR TOO LARGE for a kindle. It does not attach well for its size and for the size of the Kindle at all, requiring you to attach it at an oblique angle or not all the way down. It simply defies logic the number of positive comments for this thing. Finally, if given to a child it is dangerous as it is too big for a Kindle and thus the clip can all to easily go onto the screen and damage or even crack the Kindle screen.

4 out of 5 stars MY LAPTOP LIGHT   November 21, 2009
Mark A. Mcguinn (RICHMOND, VA)
I GOT ANOTHER KIND FROM PCH AND DID NOT LIKE IT SO I SAW THIS ONE. I LIKE THIS ONE BETTER.

5 out of 5 stars love it   November 21, 2009
Bobbie Howard (Portland, Or)
I really like the light attachment. You can attach it where ever you want. I attach it on the top of the kindle. Sometimes there is a glare on the page but adjusting it a little eliminates the glare.

5 out of 5 stars You Light up My Kindle   November 19, 2009

Just as advertised, a powerful light in a small package. The only complaint is the on-off switch tends to turn the light on at the wrong times. It often lights up my messeenger bag when I slip something in and accidently hit the switch.

2 out of 5 stars This is for a Kindle 2?   November 19, 2009

This light is in no way made for a Kindle 2. The clip opens up more 2 times the height of the top of the Kindle. That means, if you slide it onto the Kindle so that it sits securely, the clip is actually sitting on the screen! If you move it further off the Kindle so that it isn't on the screen, the clip isn't strong enough to hold it in place. So, if you move the Kindle around as you read, it will start to tilt over or try to slide down.

You can put it on the top left or top right corners of the Kindle, which seems to be how it was designed, but the the weight of the unit makes Kindle unbalanced. While on the corner, the Kindle's edge is just wide enough for the clip resulting in the battery case sticking out over the edge.

(See the pictures I uploaded to the product images for illustrations)
