After reading lots of reviews, I settled on this one. I have had zero problems bending the cover back and holding it... not too stiff. Especially like the sliding closure and it doesn't seem to tight to me... when reading I lift the Kindle slightly and tuck it between the back and the Kindle. I also purchased the screen protector and a clear "skin" (you have to make a couple of careful slits to get it onto the jacket hinges with the skin on, but no real problem. Also purchased the goose-neck light... works like a charm... I didn't have any problems moving it in or out of the slot, but actually don't even do that any more... just bend the goose-neck to position the light... perfect for reading in bed. All in all, I am reading more and enjoying it more!!

I was simply looking for a cover to "house" my Kindle and since the look and price was right, decided to purchase the M-Edge Prodigy. I am definitely pleased with the purchase. Looks very nice and have had no problems with the Kindle moving around. Only drawback is that is takes a few days/weeks to break in the cover - if you want to fold it back under the Kindle for easy reading. Overall - great purchase.

After reading the other reviews, I was concerned that I would have difficulty using this to read one-handed when I folded the front back. And sure enough, when I first got it, it was stiff and difficult to fold back. Worse, the hinge it made didn't line up right--the front cover extended past the back cover on the right side.
But then I realized that I could force it to line up correctly with a little effort, that I could retrain it to line up like I wanted. It's leather after all. Now it lines up perfectly, and I just love it. The closure can be folded between the front and back covers... This was a problem for me at first until I figured it out. I've had several people ask me about it while traveling. I'm sure I've sold a few just by the very positive comments.
So, if you get this one, don't be afraid to manhandle it a little to get it to hinge the way you want.
I love the thick cushioning and the quality feel of this cover. I love the pockets in the front cover too. I put my boarding passes and a couple sticks of gum in them--I travel a lot. This case, combined with the light makes the Kindle better, and is worth the money. I think it was money very well spent.

M-Edge makes nice products for the Kindle! This one was particularly anticipated after I had purchased a similar cover for my Kindle 1. Nice padded leather, with a good microfibre interior. It's a bit stiff, particularly if you want to read with the cover bent back, but it's been loosening up nicely with use.

I really like the M-Edge Prodigy leather Kindle cover that I purchased for my Kindle book reader. It is very sturdy and looks good. I think it looks alot better than the Kindle cover that was originally made for the Kindle (not from M-Edge but about half the price). It has clips that hold the left side of the Kindle in place and elastic tabs on the right side. However, I do wish the elastic tabs were bigger and covered it more so they wouldn't slide off every now and then. It has a pocket on the inside for storage and has a pocket to slide the M-Edge e-Luminator 2 booklight into so you don't have to clip a booklight on the cover. This also allows the booklight to close up nicely inside the cover. If I were purchasing another one - I definitely would buy this one again.
