A lid is a lid - right? Not so fast. Trying to spend locally, I must have looked a dozen places for a quality frying pan lid - either nothing was available (unless it was attached to a pan), sizes were limited, or quality was poor. Amazon & 2 days later a lid. Heavy duty, it fits and it's as attractive as a lid gets. Voila!

I have a 12 inch Faberware pan that I purchased years ago without the lid. I wanted a glass lid and found that Faberware makes a 12 inch glass lid. It fits my pan perfectly and allows me to see what I'm cooking. I also liked the price.

Part of alluminum edge on the ring was slightly pushed in, looks like the part where it joins together, however it still holds a nice seal on my 12 inch pan. Rubberized handle does not get hot so you don't need a pot holder to remove the lid.
