| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Hard anodized aluminum is one of the best heat conductors around when it comes to cookware. It also heats evenly, so food cooks at a steady pace, wherever it's location in the pot or pan. Dupont Autograph 2 has been restaurant tested by professional chefs and has been found to surpass standard non-stick coatings both in performance and durability. This cookware is coated inside and out with Autograph 2 which makes cooking without added fat very easy, and which also makes cleaning up a snap. The handles are comfortable and securely riveted and the glass lids allow you to monitor cooking without loss of flavor, heat, or nutrients. This piece is equipped with a special straining lid and pour spouts, making it ideal for cooking vegetables and potatoes, and even pasta. The straining holes on one side of the lid are small, and are larger on the other side, offering maximum versatility.

2 years and still like new February 10, 2010 K. Mularski (Spokane) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've had this pan for a couple of years now and I think it is the best pan I've ever owned. I paid a lot more for it at Macy's ($80)and would have purchased it through Amazon if I'd known there would be such a big difference in price. After 2 years of use the coating still looks like new, no scratches, and I've had excellent performance. I like the pour spouts on the pan and the holes in the lid act as strainers. The silicon on the handles help provide some insulation from heat as well as prevent slipping in your hand. It's easy to clean and heavy enough to stir without worrying about the pot moving around on the burner. I like it so much I'm looking for some more of this collection to buy, hoping the saute pans will give as good a performance as this pan has. Even at the higher price, I think it was well worth the cost. It's just a great pan!
Analon Hard Anodized 3.5 quart saucepan January 1, 2010 Mouse (Tacoma WA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
First, practical dimensions:
5 1/2 in tall without lid. 8 3/4 in tall with lid. 8 inches wide with pour spouts, 7 1/4 inches without pour spouts. 14 inches wide including handle. Silicone grips on lid and handle. Glass lid with stainless steel, which I prefer, with large and small drain holes. Very handy. Cleans like a dream, no dishwasher needed... It can't be put in the dishwasher, which might be a mark against it for some, but I don't use a dishwasher, so it's great to be able to clean it by hand so easily. It's tall, so can be used on smallest burner for better electric consumption. Have a glass top range, so hard anodized is the only way to go for me.... My heavy stainless steel pots just take too long to heat. Plan to hang on to them however....
I do concur it could use a helper handle. It's capacity is approximately 7 pounds of water (approx 8 lbs to the gallon) so it can get heavy.
I like the capacity of this saucepan, was originally looking for a 3 quart, but I'm now glad I have the extra room. It seemed all the other 3 quart pans (except Analon which, to me, was too expensive) came with stainless lids which I'm not fond of. All in all, a very good saucepan for me.
Great saucepan December 19, 2009 C. Toby I've used just about every major line of cookware and I like this one the best. The pan is very easy to clean with a solid flat bottom. It's tall so it doesn't take up a lot of space on the stove and the straining feature is an added bonus.
Anolon is the best! December 19, 2009 Jamie T. I love my Anolon pots. They are the best for a nonstick surface that works and lasts. A thousand times better than Circulon and Calphalon. This pot is slimmer (7.25" dia) and taller (5.75") than you might expect, but an excellent pot for rice, veggies, or anything! Cleanup is a breeze; never any need to soak anything. Everything comes right off.
Wonderful pot. December 19, 2009 Allison Martin (comeunity.com) Great pot. Pouring spot works well. Handle stays cool. Clear lid works well. Easy to clean and looks great. Nice size for many uses. Liked it so much I bought the set. Was $29 at the time, but price is usually around $38,
