Great idea for a simple tool but the center handle center broke off so it's really not useable.

I've tried numerous steamers. This one far surpasses them all. The feet are a bit longer and so the vegetables really steam. The stem in the center extends when you need it to so you don't get burned lifting the steamed food out of the pot, then retracts so that it fits easily into the dishwasher. This steamer fits in a double boiler or larger pot. I love it! No corners were cut in it's construction.

The best I've tried. The legs on it are much longer than usual, so you can put a fair amount of liquid in and not worry about it either drowning your veggies or boiling away before you get back. The telescoping handle is also a great feature.
A basic, simple cooking utensil made smarter.

It is the first time that I have a steamer, but since we have baby and now cooking for her veggies etc. I needed one. And I am surprised, how easy it is - we now use the steamer also for us. We love it.
