Product Description
The Bodum Pavina double wall cooler glass is 12 ounces in size and can be used for cold or warm beverages. Its unique design is appealing to the eye when filled with your favorite beverage. With its double layer of borosilicate glass it appears as though the liquid is 'floating' within the glass. They will not sweat when filled with a cold beverage, so you will not have to use a coaster. The double wall creates a thermal effect, helping to keep your cold drinks cold and your hot drinks hot for longer periods of time. These mouth blown glasses are an exciting product for any home, restaurant and cafe and they are a definite conversation piece. Bodum’s insulated glassware is made from durable Borosilicate glass. Borosilicate glass is a strong heat-resistant glass traditionally used to make scientific lab glass. Stronger than traditional “soda-lime” glass, borosilicate can be used for everything from drinkware to cookware. Borosilicate glass substitutes boron oxide in place of the soda and lime used in everyday glassware. The boron oxide acts as the glue holding the silicate together. Due to small size of boron particles, the glass is held together tighter, resulting in a stronger, lighter glass. Borosilicate glass doesn’t need to be as thick as traditional glass to be just as strong due to the bonding capability boron oxide. Borosilicate is simply a different type of glass that is resistant to temperature swings and scratching. Because the particles are held together so tightly, borosilicate glass is resistant to temperature swings, In addition to being dishwasher safe borosilicate will not become cloudy over time; you can rest assured that after 1,000 cycles, the glass will be as clear as the day you bought it.

5 out of 5 stars Love these glassess   November 8, 2009
Renae (North Dakota)
These glasses are awesome. They really insulate the beverage, keeping the hot/cold from your hand when you hold the glass. Would recommend to anyone.

4 out of 5 stars Almost perfect   November 7, 2009
Kimberly A. Bellavance (Kentucky, USA)
I absolutely love these glasses. I use them everyday for my hot tea. I love that the glass doesn't get too hot to carry. And they seem to keep my tea hotter longer than other cups/glasses. I would have given these 5 stars except for the fact that they are very fragile. I'm very careful with mine. I don't use a spoon in them. I wash them by hand and keep them seperate from the other dishes when drying. With that said, I did break one of them about a month after I got them (my own fault... I tipped one over and it fell into the sink). If you are careful with them they are fantastic. I plan on buying more. The 12 ounce size seems perfect for most uses... so I'll probably stick with that when I order more.

5 out of 5 stars Bodum review   November 4, 2009
Ozzie (IL)
Great product! No condensation on the glass to worry about- saves your tables. Wonderful size for a big drink to quench your thirst! Not a heavy glass- light, bit sturdy and beautiful, too.

3 out of 5 stars Very fragile.   November 1, 2009

While the glass does stay cool, the glass breaks if it so much as bumps against something. Otherwise good.

Bodum does not offer a warranty on their products. The plug on the bottom came out after only one use. I called and they told me Too Bad. Now my glasses are in the trash and I'm out $30.
