5 out of 5 stars Laid back song   October 31, 2009

This is a really slow acoustic song that I really enjoyed. It's got a good melody and good lyrics. Worth downloading for sure.

This song was one on my favorites live, but this version leaves me feeling meh. Why is he singing like he doesn't want to wake up his mom in the next room over? I don't think this shows off the talent of two very talented people. I hope the album has more to offer.

5 out of 5 stars I Just Listened to It straight thru & Blow Away   October 13, 2009

My title says It all. OMG the second time I noticed more things and the haunting sounds before the second verse.
But most of all he Is not a remarkable singer on his own BUT when she comes In on the chorus and sings harmony IT IS BREATHTAKING and as tender, grand, just a dozen adjectives and more. Breathtaking when they both sing. I'm checking out more.

This is a great track from The Swell Season. Those that know of their work know that they are incredibly talented musicians and truly down to earth people. If you enjoy this song, check out their first album as well as the work of The Frames that Glen Hansard is the lead vocalist for. The Frames are another group of talented musicians. This a great first single and I can't wait for the next album!
