A must have March 1, 2010 J. jablonski (Chicago,IL) If you like Star Wars then you must possess this album. John Williams is the genius who tied all the elements together. Just listening to this score will evoke memories, if it doesn't then you're not a Star Wars fan!!!
The Only Special Edition original Trilogy release mixed and mastered properly April 22, 2009 M. Gaudet (A Galaxy Far Far Away) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This release is worth every penny. The other 2 need fixed releases.
This was done with plenty of time while the other 2 were rushed to meet theater deadlines for the special edition releases. Jedi was the most rushed because the soundtrack to ID4 needed scoring on the same sound stage the remixing of return of the jedi was done on.
Star Wars was done by Dan Hersh while the others were done by Brian Risner.
Buy star wars, but don't buy empire or jedi until they are properly remastered.
Wonderful! January 9, 2009 S. Zaritsky (UT) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A classic soundtrack, this copy having great sound quality (as opposed to the old tinny sound that often comes with non-remastered older works).
Star Wars - 1977 film October 24, 2008 PL Travers (Charleston, West Virginia) If you like Star Wars, this CD is for you! A beautiful set in new condition. Used in a presentation and it was sharp, music was great; it was a terrific bargain!
Great Soundtrack October 6, 2008 V. Hanlon (Chicago) I bought this for a Star Wars birthday party for my 7-year-old son and our whole family really enjoys listening to this. If you're a Star Wars fan, I'd recommend adding this to your music collection.
