5 out of 5 stars You will SMILE and DANCE while listening to this one!   February 17, 2010

Need a little help getting going in the morning?

Need a little lift on a dragging sort of a day?

Pop this one in and crank it up. You will SMILE and DANCE while listening to this one! Guaranteed stress relief and maybe even world-changing,...OK at the VERY Least DISNEY World changing!!

Give yourself the chance to remember why you love Disney...and Los Lobos at the same time!!

I must admit I had to wonder how my musical hermanos had landed on this theme for their current offering, but I am now thrilled that they did.

Lots and lots of fun!!

4 out of 5 stars Christmas   February 11, 2010

A lot of these songs have been played every christmas eve on Swedish television and starts a lot of memories. The best songs are those that are changed like the one of the seven dwarfs and Bella notte.

2 out of 5 stars Los lobos goes loco   February 1, 2010
Anne La Mont (MI USA)
What a strange cd combo - Disney songs done by Los Lobos. From the first Heigh Ho with lyrics in Spanish you know this is not going to be boring. I'm not a Disney fan but if you gotta hear these songs who better than Los Lobos to give each song a twist of rhythm and pop? This cd was not one to listen to from beginning to end but I think it will be fun to find something quirky to add to your day. There are some slow paced songs 3, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12. I like 1, 4, and 7 better. #13 is an instrumental medley. So zip a de day let the music play!

5 out of 5 stars Irresistable to young and old   December 11, 2009

Los Lobos has been rocking East L.A. and the Western World with a buoyant blend of American and Mexican music for over 30 years now. Ever since 1988, when they released a hilarious cover of "I Wanna Be Like You" from Walt Disney's "Jungle Book," I have wondered when they might make a children's album. Here 'tis! Thirteen of your favorite Disney songs are given the lupine treatment they deserve, and the album is a delight throughout. Enjoy!

5 out of 5 stars Amazing   November 13, 2009

A quality album all the way through. Makes me want to learn how to play the cuarto. Their version of "Vippity Do Dah" is like "Oh La La" from Colossal Head played by Jerry Garcia. The last track, "When You Wish Upon a Star/It's a Small World" is an instrumental and was way better than I thought it would be. I can't figure out how they manage to make every album sound unique and still sound like Los Lobos. It is consistent with decades of great music and an equally great live show. You can listen to the entire album on their official web site. The first listen made me want to own it.
