This album presents the artist as a cabaret and Jazz singer of emotional clarity, depth and maturity, offering the listener a warm and intimate selection of late night meditations on love's powers, heartbreaks and solaces. Rounding out the album's smoky after hours ambience with his sublime orchestrations is the legendary songwriter and Grammy-winning arranger Johnny Mandel (who worked with Streisand on her 1993 Back to Broadway album and arranged/co-produced Krall's 1998 Grammy-winning When I Look In Your Eyes).

I'm Barbra Streisand's greatest fan for 40 years. I travelled miles and miles to see her live. But now, I get more and more disappointed.
Firtst, in Wienna, at the end of the concert, the crowd applauded and obviously wonted more. But she didn't come back. People were talking: "Well, she delivered what we payed fore... Where is te soul, the contact wuth the public?". It was perfct, but with a feeling of a fulfiled contract. True artists GIVE to their fans, especially, if the fans travel miles to see the event. And they do not read texts of the songs and comments. Oj!
Second, sadly, Love is the answer would be a great buy, if it would be "practice sessions", "ureeleased rare recordings" or similar. The scraches in the woice... accompanied with feeling "let's get over with" in doing these songs. Quite arrogant to offer something like that.

The item arrived in a timely fashion but it was defective and did not play the last 3 songs and I sent the item back and I am waiting for my refund - I doubt that I will buy CD from this seller again.
