Definitely not what I was expecting. It's not very wide so if you sit with your legs crossed, etc., it can be a tight fit. Plus, the product doesn't look like it is very high quality - it's basically just plastic. It helps when I need a sturdy surface while working on something, but I use it rarely at this point and would almost rather get up and sit at a desk.

I bought this workstation as a gift for my dad. Packaging of the product was only the cardboard box and nothing else, so when I opened the box, of course the not-so-hardy plastic it was made of was in quite a few pieces. I bought this for my mother for Christmas and it doesn't support her laptop.
The tilting portion would only fit a smaller laptop or a notebook, not her standard sized laptop.

I am very disappointed in this item. It is flimsy and my laptop slides off even though I added a grip pad. I did read the other reviews but I can only agree with the negative ones. A regular bed tray or lap pad would have worked much better. I advise you to read all the reviews carefully before buying this. The plastic is cheap and will break easily and the desk portion doesn't tilt at any suitable angle for using while sitting or in bed (and your laptop will slide off the side). A waste of money.
