I didn't even give a second thought to purchasing this grill cover after seeing the workmanship of the Weber Grill, I knew the cover would be top notch.
Very well fitting, although I don't care too much for the Velcro on the straps, maybe a different design there would have made me just a tad happier, but overall, it's a must have after spending the cash on the grill in the first place.

 Don't Waste Your Money November 5, 2009

As soon as I took the cover out of the box I noticed that both of the top seams had long gaps where the stitching wasn't continuous. Whoever made it tried to go back over the section and made it even worse. What a mess! Naturally it leaked like a sieve the first time it rained. When I contacted Weber they told me that I would need to send it back to them since I had not purchased it from them. I told then that it has Weber on it so they were responsible no matter what retail channel it came from. I explained that postage would cost almost as much as the cover. After some back and forth they agreeded to accept a digital photo and a scan of the Amazon recipt. They called me in a few days to tell me that the replacement was on its way. Great I thought, now we're cooking . The replacemnt cover came and while the seams were sewn properly they still leak. The design is very poor. Why would you design a cover with sewn seams on the TOP. Like maybe you should fabricate the top WITHOUT SEAMS! Don't waste your money on this. The design is flawed. A sheet of 4-mil plastic would be better and lot cheaper. I think that Crafstman might make a cover with vents that address condensation issues as well. Weber makes great grille but this cover is a no-go.

I purchased this cover for our new Weber Genesis Gas Grill. It is made from a high quality, heavy duty vinyl. It also has two velcro straps on the sides, to secure the cover from blowing off in heavy winds. It was offered at an excellent price on Amazon.com and was delivered within a few days. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone who has this Weber Grill, to protect their grill from the elements.
