5 out of 5 stars You need it!   November 20, 2009

If you have D80,D60,D40 or D90 it is an essential part. I use it and I love it.

5 out of 5 stars A Must Have For Tripod/Long Exposure Work   November 20, 2009
F. Wallace (Easton, MD)
I bought this specifically for my D90 and immediately gave it a workout in low light cathedral interiors. It performed beautifully. I've also used it for family photos (that include me). Using this remote you can easily do fun things, i.e. multiple exposures with you in several locations within the same photo. I've read that the range is 15 feet but I haven't tested that and it has not presented any issues to date for me. It does not come with a manual but it's use is pretty straightforward. I Googled the device to get answers regarding questions I had. Happy Shooting!Nikon ML-L3 Wireless Remote Control for Nikon D40, D40x, D60, D80 & D90 Digital SLR Cameras

4 out of 5 stars Good and convenient   November 17, 2009

I have a Nikon D40 and this little remote works well. Setting up to use (follow camera manual instructions for remote camera use) is really easy and you basically just aim and fire for the shot. It was worth the money for the convenience of taking shots with a remote. It's small so make sure you keep it safe in it's little case so it doesn't get lost. My only complaint is that I feel like I have to aim right at the camera sometimes or the remote won't work. Of course, you don't want your arm pointing at the camera as you take the shot so there are some adjustments you have to make when you're taking a pic, like holding the remote behind your back and angling yourself in a certain way so it looks natural.

4 out of 5 stars Nikon ML-L3 Wireless Remote Control for Nikon D40, D40x, D60, D80 & D90 Digital Cameras   November 16, 2009

Convenient and easy to use, however I was a bit disappointed that it doesn't autofocus, otherwise it's a perfect gadget to have for self-portrait artists.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect!   November 16, 2009
Channiple Lanner (USA)
This product is ESSENTIAL if you take lots of self-portraits. It eliminates having to set the self-timer, and then getting into the shot, and then -- for taking multiple shots, having to repeat this process and ruining the flow of things. With a remote you can take shot after shot with ease, and without having to completely re-position yourself.

The remote doesn't come with directions, but you can easily search online or refer to your Nikon camera user's manual. IT'S EASY, and worth it.
