This copy of Norton 360 gave me nothing but problems! I spent hours online with Norton trying to fix all the problems. bottom line I had to buy another copy from Norton

1. Keeps itself updated very often.
2. Has a feature that verifies files making them secure and unnecessary to scan. Scans are extremely fast.
3. Has many optimization features to keep your computer running well.
4. It is completely automatic. Set it and forget it.
5. The latest version of the product is 4.0. You get to upgrade free to every new version, although not automatically. However, they will notify you of a newer version's availability by email. Upgrading is very easy.
6. The one negative I have of version 3.0 has been corrected in 4.0. That is the identity safe. If you depend on it to remember logins (I do), you are then addicted to Norton. The new version will allow you to export your safe contents so you can put it on a pocket drive and carry it with you.
7. Norton support is really good if you have an issue. I bought this product because it was cheaper than paying for another year of protection. Current annual subscription rate renewal is $49.95. You can find a low cost version on the internet and you can enter the key code to renew and never even use the CD. The one problem I had was that I had time left on my current subscription and when I entered the key code I was given 365 days. I lost 22 days of my existing subscription. Support corrected this and added 30 days. I would wait to the last day of your current subscription to avoid this. Norton is pretty quick to recognize issues, so this may no longer exist as a problem.

Absolutely terrible software. After all those years they cannot get it right. It slows down you computer, tries to sell you more stupid thing from Norton and does many others annoying things. Today was the final straw. I had extremely important data conversion. I was running the process for 10 hours when Norton reset my computer (to update itself) and destroyed all my hard work. I hope I can make a deadline line now. Stay away from this. Cannot believe that are doing things in that way. Awful package.

I purchased this product to replace my Norton internet security suite. it arrived a day late not Norton's fault in fact it was mine.
I have been a long time fan of Norton since windows 3.1. However my support is waning.
I am very upset, since when my subscription ran out it did not just refuse to update. The program came to a screeching halt. In the past, the only thing that happened When the subscription lapsed, was that it refused to update the av signatures. This time it turned off my firewall, and came to a complete stop leaving me open to malicious software and persons unknown.
This type of extortion by my own anti virus software leads me to consider switching to another program next time. I have not been a fan of any software that requires a yearly subscription to gain updates... and even less of one that ceases to work at all.
My recommendation is for you to try a different company.
