I like these shoes because they come in wide sizes, and they are very comfortable to wear all day, and they don't break the bank.
Good replacement for the 575 November 18, 2009

I was bummed when New Balance stopped making the 575. NB recommended the 622 because it has a similar last. While it has taken longer to break in than the 575, it works much better than the 576 which has a very different last.

These are absolutely the best athletic shoes on the market ! They are so comfortable, provide great support and stability, and last as long as any shoe out there. You just can't buy a better shoe at ANY price. I'm so glad that NB makes these in wide widths. You will be very happy with these sneakers.

I have 3 pairs of New Balance shoes currently; 1 pair of running and 2 cross-trainers. All are size 10.5 eeee and all fit perfectly. So when I ordered these in the same size I was suprized that they didn't fit. Really didn't fit. Pinched my big toe like a vice. So I sent them back. Guess I'll have to buy them in the store and try them on first.

I'm a huge New Balance fan but this one did not fit like the others. It seems to bind on the side and is not comfortable to wear for long walks. Maybe I got a defective shoe but this one is not up to standards.
