I am very sensitive to comfortable shoes, as well as I tend to ruin them faster than an average consumer (I can judge by my male relatives who usually buy same stuff)
Bought a pair a year ago (it's the same as 991). This one was the best thing that ever had been on my feet. Simply the best. Moreover, it had been quite a while for now that I am wearing them almost every day, and they look and feel like new. Truly addicted.
Now buying another two for my dad and myself, because I am afraid the guys at New Balance like in any other brand will be tempted to change something in the product and I will not like it :)

Bought these based on my personal experiences with other NB shoes and on the many other reviews at the Amazon site. These have quickly become my favorite walking shoes. Yes, I know they are technically "running shoes," but since surgery on my back I'm limited to walking. The built-in cushioning is a god-send for people like me. I highly recommend them.

This is my first pair of New Balance. I was a Nike user. They are very comfortable to wear and on the treadmill. They fit perfectly, I was a little worried about that. I measured my foot on a blank piece of paper and marked the spots, and the measured them. It worked! The model MR993 that I chose had no gimmicks like most runners out there. It just was made really well with good materials. Also, I'm Canadian and I like the fact that they are made by my good friends in the USA. I've had them for a month now and they are well broken in. They feel fantastic on my feet. Glad I tried something new to me. DV.

these are a great pair of shoes, even though i haven't run in them ever. they have keep my feet feeling good despite long hours running around the hospital and standing in the OR. new balance seems to be a popular brand in many hospitals and for good reason. a nice bonus is that they are made in the USA and seem to be well made!

Happy Feet in Virginia (Virginia)
My husband wears an 11 2A- almost impossible to find in a running shoe. We have had numerous pairs of New Balance shoes over the years, and have always been pleased with the quality. With less than a week to go before his birthday, I was able to find a great pair of quality shoes in my husband's size, and at a great price! They arrived so rapidly I was shocked! Thanks, Roadrunner!! He loves the shoes!!
