Its an ok toy... not worth more than the 10.00 the stores are charging... After xmas these things will be filling the shelves and back to 10.00. People need to force these guys to bring the price back down to earth, this is rediculous!

I was lucky and found one of these toys for just a couple of dollars over suggested retail price. Bought it for my 3 year old daughter. She let it do its thing for about 20 minutes and then put it in the stuffed animal toy chest, where it has been sitting now, untouched for almost two weeks! It really is cute. But that's all it's got going for it! Glad I didn't get sucked into spending big bucks because of all the hype!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY unless you can get this toy for the $8.00 price!

I was getting ready to buy here and read the reviews to see why these are so popular and soooo pricey. Thanks to all of you, I take my chances on a local brick and mortar store like Walmart to save some $$$. If I didn't read the reviews, I would have been fooled and paid the high prices! I agree with one of the reviews that Amazon should be able to step in and ban these scaming practices. I love Amazon on all other levels, however.

Please do not do business with these people that are ruining Christmas for our children. I think this outrageous price gouging should be illegal, These pets sell for $8.00 at Walmart (if you can find them). This particular "Mr. Squiggles is selling here today for $52.99! Wonder why you can't find them at retail? Because of greedy people like this! Don't play into these deceptive practices, you will just encourage more of this greed.

There is no way I am paying what people are asking for this mechanical pet toy. I can't believe parents have actually fallen for these pricing scams. What lessons are you teaching your kids? Do you really want them to ignore wasteful spending in the name of "keeping up with the Jones"? What a horrible thing to teach kids; especially in this economy.
