Cetyl M® Joint Supplement For Dogs
With all the supplements available on the market, Working Dogs intentionally has not made any recommendations in the past because you never know how much is sales hype or what is really effective. We put our 9 and 10 year old GSD's on Cetyl M per a recomendation from our vet and have been amazed with the results. It did not happen over night, and took a couple weeks to see results, but now at 6 months of usage we are still pleased.
Cetyl M® is a natural nutritional supplement. A combination of Cetyl Myristoleate and Glucosamine HCL work together to create optimum joint health. Cetyl M® is used to repair and reduce dysplasia and other joint problems.
Cetyl M® is the replacement product for Joint Response. Last year, Response Products™ decided to replace Joint Response (200mg CM, 200mg Glucosamine HCL) with Cetyl M® (250mg CM, 250mg Glucosamine HCL). Cetyl M® had only been available through vets and is now available from us and other quality outfitters.

Each tablet of Advanced Cetyl M® Joint Action Formula for Dogs contains:
Cetyl Myristoleate* - 250mg
Glucosamine HCL - 250mg
Other ingredients include: Garlic Root, Bromelain, Boswellin Extract, Ginger Root Extract, Yucca Extract, Lipase and Natural Roast Beef and Liver flavorings.
In order to get the full effect of Cetyl M, you will need to give your pet the pills according to the following instructions.
Loading Dose: The first 6 weeks (42 days). Give 2 pills for every 25 lbs.
Maintenance Dose: 1 pill/25 lbs.
If you have a large dog or dog with a sensitive constitution, the glucosamine-hcl may cause loose stool. If you experience this, back off on the loading dose and work your way up to the recommended amount just as you would with ester-c or other supplements which give them loose stool.
