Product Description
Fancy Nancy is back! And when her family decides to get a dog, she's certain she can be fancier than ever. After all, a papillonâa small, delicate, fluffy dogâis the ultimate accessory. But her family wants a large, plain dog. How unglamorous! With Fancy Nancy's trademark humor and warmth, Nancy discovers that real fanciness does not depend simply on appearance but more on a genuine joie de vivre, which is a fancy phrase for having lots of fun.

Love the Fancy Nancy series October 19, 2009 Love the Fancy Nancy series, this is a must have for reading time, one of my child's absolute favorites!
Not Just Another Story October 7, 2009 This book is typical of the Fancy Nancy series.
It presents a pleasant interesting story written
as a "read to" book for pre school and early school
age girls. The BIG plus is that the story includes
vocabulary enrichment as integral part of the
experience. It becomes an extra challenge to a
child/adult conversation to speak in "Fancy Nancy
talk" for the rest of the day. Three cheers, five
stars, or whatever for this book. It makes learning fun.
Great book! September 25, 2009 I've read this to my four year old so much I think I almost have it memorized. She is a huge Fancy Nancy fan. Cute story, and I love that it teaches kids that if things don't work out the way you want them to there may be another solution that will be just as good, or maybe even better. Sometimes when a children's story tries to teach a lesson it comes out forced or not enjoyable, but this one pulls it off quite nicely.
Positively Fancy September 3, 2009 In this story fancy Nancy is excited because her family is going to get a dog. But she wants a fancy little dog she can dress up and accessorize. However after looking after a dog that is just like the one she wants, she realizes that maybe their family needs something different. Read this book, expand your child's vocabulary and have a fun time with Fancy Nancy and her family once again. These books are wonderfully well written and illustrated in a magical and charming way.
Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy May 18, 2009 Exellent condition. Hardcover book for a good price. My granddaughter is in love with this character.
