I love this book-have a lot of friends who have children turning 1-this book is the perfect book

3 out of 5 stars Disappointed in Movable Parts   September 28, 2009

Because I ordered this book online, I didn't see that there are movable parts--very cute but totally inappropriate for a one-year-old who will tear them off immediately. I specifically ordered the book because it is a board book and expected it to be sturdy and a nice birthday keepsake. It just hurts me to think how it will be mutilated.

3 out of 5 stars Not your typical Seuss   June 2, 2009

This book is not as good as most Dr. Seuss books I've read. My niece loves him because of the rhyming style, but this one isn't really that way. Some of the pieces of the book that have movement are kind of cute.
