I read this book many years ago and it opened my eyes and heart to a broader understanding of Native American history and way of life. I had both my children read the Tracker to aid in their understanding, as this book was too spiritual for them at the time. I found it a fascinating read and began to consider that some of the events he describes--like the dead talking to the living--may actually be real. Today this sounds more believable than not, but years ago this book really helped me on my journey. Thanks, Tom and Grandfather.

I would highly recommend this book. It is easy reading and very informative. The author can at times present with a bit of an ego, but it is easily ignored because he truly loves the topic he is sharing with the reader.
