This is a wonderful book for those that have lost a spouse. We teach a GriefShare class and intent to add this to our library.

5 out of 5 stars Contains a lot of good advice and good thoughts   July 14, 2009

It's a sad fact, but women are much more likely to outlive their spouses than men. As such, many women, if not most, end up facing a future suddenly bereft of their life's partner. This book contains a lot of good advice and good thoughts. If you, or someone you love, has been recently widowed, then this is a good book to get. If you have a loved one who has been given a terrible diagnosis by a doctor, then do yourself a favor and get this book now - it has the kind of information that you don't want to wait to get.

(Review of Widow To Widow by Genevieve Davis Ginsburg)

Widow to Widow is perfect for anyone who has lost a loved one. I am a physician and recommend it to my patients.

5 out of 5 stars The best book for recent widows by far   July 5, 2009
Joan W. Gruen (Buffalo, NY)
Of all the books I read after my husband died this book was head and shoulders over all the rest: practical, insightful and well-written.

5 out of 5 stars She Understands   June 19, 2009
J. Frederick
No one can understand a loss unless they have been thro it and this writer has. It is an excellent book, that often leaves me in tears, acknowledging my loss and the kindred spirit of others who are also in my shoes.
