Amazon.com Review Got a stress case in your life? Of course you do: "Without question, many of us have mastered the neurotic art of spending much of our lives worrying about a variety of things all at once." Carlson's cheerful book aims to make us stop and smell--if not roses--whatever is sitting in front of our noses. Don't Sweat the Small Stuff... offers 100 meditations designed to make you appreciate being alive, keep your emotions (especially anger and dissatisfaction) in proper perspective, and cherish other people as the unique miracles they are. It's an owner's manual of the heart, and if you follow the directions, you will be a happier, more harmonious person. Like Stairmasters, oat bran, and other things that are good for you, the meditations take discipline. Even so, some of the strategies are kind of fun: "Imagine the people in your life as tiny infants and as 100-year-old adults." The trouble is, once you start, it's hard to stop.
Product Description Braille edition of the popular bestseller. "Let go of the idea that gentle, relaxed people can't be super-achievers," advises Dr. Richard Carlson in his widely popular self-help book, DON'T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF. In 100 chapters--each only a few pages long--Dr. Carlson shares his ideas for living a calmer, richer life. This book has been on the New York Times bestseller list for 38 weeks and is No. 3 on USA TODAY's Best-Selling Books list. Two small volumes in braille.

Don't Sweat the Small Stull November 14, 2009 Kelly Pirkle I ordered this book, on Oct. 13, 2009 and I still have not rec'd it. I have treid to contact the seller backpack_books, but have not been able to locate an email address for them.
Don't seat the small stuff October 30, 2009 Jeannie Hall (Lino Lakes, MN) I absolutely love this book. I had one before and let a friend take it. I decided to get myself one, plus one for another friend.
PRACTICAL SELF-HELP September 19, 2009 Joseph H. Race (SAIPAN, MP United States) This little masterpiece will get you through the day interacting with terrible co-workers, road rage on the freeway, bored teenagers at home, and the mother-in-law who won't leave you alone for a minute of your leisure time. The book will give you ideas on how to deal with life's twists and turns, and will really show that "life is an attitude - good or bad." I like the small sections where the author talks about kindness, respect, humility, innocence, love, and living every day like it is your last. Learn that life is not always fair (to you or others) and that anything or anyone will not always live up your own personal expectations. Lighten up and "Remember, One Hundred years from Now, There Will Be all New People." The book has excellent ways on analyzing and dealing with stress and learning to relax. A good book full of wonderful, worthwhile advice. Carry it with you and read it casually on a vacation or an afternoon trip to the beach.
blazing fast shipping...outstanding book September 1, 2009 P. Reynoso (concord, ca) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The book is full of very good ideas on how to live a more peaceful live, coexisting with other human beings. The chapters are short and an easy-read, but they are packed with everyday solutions to what I used to consider huge problems. I highly recommend this book and the seller!
Don't sweat the small stuff July 5, 2009 Noah W. Lewis (New Orleans, LA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book replaced my original that I lost in the flood waters of Hurricane Katrina in 2005 in New Orleans. Great book then, and now!
