Product Description How many times does a dieter enthusiastically and faithfully start a weight-loss regimen only to end up a week, a month, a year later giving in to hunger and cravings again and again--and before he or she knows it, the pounds have packed back on? This time, it's going to be different. This time, there's The Beck Diet Solution Weight Loss Workbook--a straightforward, effective plan for dieting successfully, losing weight with confidence, and, most importantly, keeping those excess pounds off forever. Dr. Judith Beck, director of the Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy and Research, is a world-recognized authority in the field of Cognitive Therapy. In her first weight-loss book, The Beck Diet Solution, she created a unique program that revolutionized people's approach to shedding pounds by changing both behavior and thinking. Rather than tell what to eat, Dr. Beck's step-by-step, six-week plan--which works with any nutritious diet--teaches the skills needed to stay continuously motivated to stick to a diet and to achieve lasting weight loss. Features Works for dieters who are familiar with the original The Beck Diet Solution book AND for those coming to the program for the first time through this workbook It is a stand-alone workbook that will incorporate the philosophy of Cognitive Therapy for weight loss and give the reader a map to plan and chart their own weight-loss program Highly user-friendly, with plentiful opportunities to connect with other real-life dieters through their stories and sessions with Dr. Beck There is a place for the reader to fill out lists of favorite foods, trigger foods, and alternatives based on a healthy eating plan

Beck Diet Solutions Weight loss workbook November 19, 2009 G. Taylor (Illinois) If you're really serious about losing weight and changing your lifestyle, this workbook will really help. It's a great companion to the Beck Diet Solution book.
exceptional October 30, 2009 Elaine Brechmann (USA) this book is amazing. it teaches me all the skills I require in an intelligent format. I am proceeding on this plan like I never have before.
Beck Diet Solution Weight Loss Workbook: The 6-233k plan to train your brain to think like a thin person September 26, 2009 Elizabeth Neal (Las Vegas, NV) I have tried every diet known to exist, (well, almost every diet...)This book has helped me find the way to get it off and keep it off. Because it's not the diet that will make the difference, it's how you think about food. How you react to food, and how you change your mindset. It may be a 6-week plan but I'm taking it slower and trying to absorb the information into my everyday life style. In this way I KNOW I will be able to loose my extra weight and KEEP IT OFF!
Beck's Diet Solution Weight Loss Workbook: "The 6-week Plan to Train Your Brain to Think Like a Thin Person" Review September 13, 2009 Angela M. Horton (Atlanta, GA USA) I haven't read this book yet. I bought the audio CD and listened to that and see there is a lot of work to Beck's system and dieting plan. I put it off until later when I had more time to study and read up on this.
yadda yadda yadda March 23, 2009 Donna Bush (Hannibal, Mo usa) 3 out of 14 found this review helpful
Same song, second verse. Tells the very people who cannot eat right
that the solution to their problem is to eat the 'right' food and
of course exercise religiously. Might work for those who have no
gluttonous tendencies to begin with but useless for changing the heart.
Doesn't hold a candlestick to Gwen Shamblin's Weigh Down Workshop.
I accidentally hit the wrong button on the star ratings. I think it should
only have a 1 star rating. Sorry.
