5 out of 5 stars Outstanding and eye-opening   December 10, 2009

This book is straightforward and challenging. We who are believers cannot compartmentalize our beliefs about the origin of man and all that exists if we want to be authentic. If we have been born anew by the Spirit of God into His kingdom, have thus become His children, we know the Bible is the Word of God. If we know the Bible is the Word of God, we know sin and death did not enter the world until after man had sinned. There could not have been eons of death before man appeared on the scene.

This book is chockful of information which every Christian needs to know and understand. I highly recommend it to every believer who is serious about de-compartmentalizing his or her life so that the mind and soul are completely renewed by the transforming power of God's Word. (Romans 12:1-2)

It seriously worries me that there is a whole subculture in this country that actually thinks like this. What you have here is your basic American Taliban campaign to establish a theocracy. It's pretty laughable. The idea that adherents to this kind of blatantly flawed thinking recently controlled the White House, though, not so funny. People who think like this should not hold any power at all, in Afghanistan or here in the US. You're free to think the earth is whatever shape you want it to be, but that doesn't make you right.

5 out of 5 stars Ken Ham defends the Biblical account of the creation of man.   October 24, 2009

This is a scientific defense of the Biblical creation account and is recommended for anyone who is sincerely seeking the truth about the origin of man and his purpose. This book will demonstrate that the theory of monkeys-to-man evolution is based on false premises and multiple false assumptions. You will discover that the scientific community's teachings are outdated and are not consistent with the latest evidence (the fossil record is only one of many). Both proponents and skeptics will uncover a wealth of information. Highly recommended.

1 out of 5 stars Ken Ham want you to live in the Dark Ages   October 18, 2009

Ken Ham believes in a literal interpretation of the entire bible. He thinks creation happened exactly as the bible says. For example he believes god created the waters of the Earth before he created ANYTHING else. Also, that god created light, night and day before he created the Sun and the stars. Ham believes in a literal interpretation of Noah's flood, that the earth flooded to the highest mountain top with just 40 days of rain.

Ham thinks all science is evil and leads to genocide. But it is the bible that is filled with god's genocide, starting with Noah's flood! If it is your dream to turn you back on science and live as they did 2000 years ago, read his book.

The Bible Revisited: Genesis 2.0, if it read like this there would be few atheists:
[...]

Proving that nobody can get into heaven:
[...]

Tower of Babel:
[...]

Proof there are no REAL Christians
[...]

Religion is a fairytale and its practice is a cult.

This was the very first book I read of Ken Ham that helped change my thinking of evolution in a heartbeat! Ken Ham uses scientific observational skills of people's behavior and plenty of Scripture to support the point that evolution is a lie that supports immorrality of any culture. If you have someone who is a strong believer in evolution or someone who is confused about the whole matter, BUY THIS BOOK!
