Perfect April 24, 2009 C. Hall (Utah) I received exactly what I expected. I feel it was a bargain and I'm pleased with my purchase. It arrived quickly too.
If you enjoy anything by Dan Millman (Peaceful Warrior), you would enjoy this book. I expect to read it several more times.
Good guide March 8, 2009 Paige Matthews (Creedmoor, NC United States) Very inspirational and well thought out. Good read with Peaceful Warrior but the same author.
Not one of Dan Millman's better writings January 11, 2009 Carl Corey (California) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
To be blunt, this book does little but re-hash idea's presented in the much better book, Way of the Peacful Warrior, also by Dan Millman. He is an author with some good things to say, and I bought this book off of Amazon thinking it would be great, only to learn that it has very little new material, some straight up bad life advice, and several mistranslations from original sources such as the Tao te Ching, in which Millman tries to sound like a mystical Taoist/ Buddhist / Hindu guru (despite the fact those philosophies have little in common other than being from Asia)and misconstrues the messages. This is little more than another product on the Peacful Warrior bandwagon for you to buy, amd while Millman can be a good author, there are better ways to spend your time or money than reading this book.
A great guidebook for connecting with spirit July 26, 2008 Chris Cade (Vancouver, WA) If you'd like to experience profound joy, then this book will help you to balance your mind, body, and spirit, so that you can be more in tune with the joy within yourself that is waiting to be expressed.
Sometimes it reads like a parable, and sometimes like a guidebook, and in both there is a balance that makes it an enjoyable and fulfilling read that will bring you one step closer towards what you currently seek.
