Chris Sertzel October 21, 2009 Chris Sertzel (Madison, Wisconsin) This book made history when it was published, and will continue to hold top rank as the best all inclusive and comprehensive guide for groomers of all skills levels. A must have for every groomer and stylist!!
great book March 22, 2009 Penny J. Ives (UK) This book is a must for the groomer both for the beginner and the experienced.
Clear instructions and good pictures to follow. The ring binder helps because you can fold it back and it doesn't ruin your book.

I like this book because when I groom I am a visual person don't explain to me what I need to do show me a picture. There were lots of pictures in here which I liked. The thing I didn't like was there was not an extensive list for doing different cuts on dogs. I know she probably really wanted to touch more on the showy cuts than exotic cuts but it would have been nice if she had thrown some in. The only one who got a list was the poodle which of course would its a poodle. It is a nice book it has most of the breeds but not a mixed breed cut and again little variation for the dogs. The books goes over almost everything setting patterns, dogs anatomy and tool and grooming equipment.I think its a good book but is it worth almost $70.00 I'm not sure.
