I just couldn't get into this book any other way than to think of it as pure fantasy, because that is what it sounds like.
With all the "soul groups", "clusters", "spirit guides", "souls which go in and out of male/female form", "any kind of material thing, such as cities, trees, etc., being a figment of the souls' imaginations", "spirits walking around and only being able to see their faces and torsos with weird looking eyes"...if all that is stuff that happens when a person dies, then I hope I live forever because that is some dreadful stuff.

I bought this book because I have become interested in NDE's. This writer touched on the subject but I did not find his interviews all that convincing. I have always believed, and still do believe that conciousness is God and that we become aware of this at death, hence the NDE. I do not think we are taken into a familiar room and given a lecture by our guides at death. Obviously, can't prove it but most of the narration appears to come from the imagination of the interviewee. Doesn't ring true.

This is the 6th book I bought as a gift for friends/family because it truly is a gift. This book is extrordinary as it takes you between lives and how your soul chooses its next life. It talks about soul groups, souls that you have been with in many or all lives, people usually who are close to you now. Like when you meet someone and you feel you have met/known them before they are the ones that are usually in your soul group. It makes you soul search by asking yourself why you chose this life because there is a choice. This book is great for those who know that they have a reason to be here but just can't figure out why. Highly recomend.

Interesting book!.....Not sure if I believe all of it though. Let's get this straight, guys like hitler, ted bundy get love and support just like the average person does?.....They were born, and gave us pain too give us lessons?....Why thank you ted!...I guess you got a medal when you died....lol. Or moved up the spiritual ladder.

This book by Michael Newton is one of the best I've read on life after life. Carefully researched, each chapter builds upon the last one as he reviews the lives and soul journeys of his clients. As I read this book, I felt as though a window was opening and my perspective on so many things began to change, as I was filled with hope instead of the resignation I had been feeling. I look at life and life events in a completely different way now. I have ordered his other book, "Destiny of Souls" and can't wait to see what awaits.
