THE book on service dog training, forward by Betty White, this book contains all the official rules and guidelines for owning and depending on a service dog in your life. THe text is easy to read and the format is easy to use. Each concept is presented separately and anyone can use this book, in fact everyone with a service dog should use this book.Autumn of Blessed Acres service dog

information regarding what a service dog is and what it does. NOT a training manual as I had hoped.

3 out of 5 stars Service Dog Information   December 16, 2008

I was disappointed that there was not more specific information in how to train my own service dog. I was looking for a book on training and thought this was it. The book is more about how they help but also not in enough detail for what I need.

I bought this book because I am training my own service dog, but I found this book not helpful at all and quite redundant. I found "teamwork II" much more helpful.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent for developing Service Dogs   June 14, 2008
Nancy Key (Nashville)
I am disabled, wanting to train my own dog before the disability gets worse. This is so well-written and yet concise. The photos are helpful, as well as personal examples of things which might happen. Thanks!!
