not training in this book December 19, 2008 Rosemary Ulrich (Austin, TX) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
information regarding what a service dog is and what it does. NOT a training manual as I had hoped.
Service Dog Information December 16, 2008 M&M's Mom (USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was disappointed that there was not more specific information in how to train my own service dog. I was looking for a book on training and thought this was it. The book is more about how they help but also not in enough detail for what I need.
not very helpful December 1, 2008 D. Long (savannah, GA) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I bought this book because I am training my own service dog, but I found this book not helpful at all and quite redundant. I found "teamwork II" much more helpful.
Excellent for developing Service Dogs June 14, 2008 Nancy Key (Nashville) I am disabled, wanting to train my own dog before the disability gets worse. This is so well-written and yet concise. The photos are helpful, as well as personal examples of things which might happen. Thanks!!
