5 out of 5 stars A must have !   September 2, 2009

"How To Run A Dog Business: Putting Your Career Where Your Heart Is" by Veronica Boutelle is a fantastic resource for anyone wanting to work with dogs and run their own business. Even if you have been up and running for years but still feel a little lost, this book can be a lifesaver and help you avoid burnout. Without this book as a compass, I would be totally lost about the way to proceed and probably made a lot of mistakes along the way. Now I can have the peace of mind that I have the tools to set up my business in the most efficient and successful way possible. It involves a lot of work (all completely worthwhile when you are pursuing your passion), but at least I know I am headed in the right direction and I have Veronica and this book to thank for that!

Necessary guide to people about to star a dog business. Tips, trades, shortcuts and advise to avoid ruin and crappy client relationships.

I'm currently reading the book titled How to Run a Dog Business, etc. As an aspiring dog trainer, I thought it would give me a bit more detail, but so far it is helpful, but not as extensive or comprehesive as I hoped.

I've been running a small dog training business for around 8 years now and after reading this book, have realized how many things I could be doing better. Her ideas are simple yet effective. This is a definite MUST READ if you're thinking of going into a dog related business or even if you're already in one!
