Customer Reviews: A fantastic guide to how to be a leader in business and in war. June 29, 2009 Joseph J. Truncale (Chicago, Il) I fully admit to being a fan of Richard Marcinko. I have not read all his novels, but I have read all of his non-fiction books. I found Leadership Secrets of the Rouge Warrior to be one of the best books I have ever read on the subject of leadership. Like his novels, "he tells it like it is" and does not mince words. In this book he gives a detailed explanation of each of his "ten commandments of specwar." He relates each commandment to both his military experience and to business experience. He emphasizes that life is war and one must think like a warrior to be a true leader. He has no use for those who talk about sacrifice and lead from the rear. Indeed, this is a book for winners not losers. As a former Navy SEAL Commander, Marcinko is a true warrior who understands that the mind is the most important weapon in the body, but that the body must work together to succeed in every battle. Rating: 5 Stars. A must read book for anyone interested in what it takes to be a true leader. Joseph J.
