Product Description
The Easy Walk Harness is designed to gently discourage your dog from pulling while walking on a leash. The Easy Walk Harness is simple to use and easy to fit. Your dog will love it as much as you will! Unlike a collar, the Easy Walk Harness never causes coughing, gagging, or choking because the chest strap rests low across the breastbone, not on the delicate tracheal area. Traditional harnesses can actually encourage dogs to pull harder because of the "opposition reflex". That's the reflex that makes sled dogs do what they do. The Easy Walk Harness redirects the pressure through the front leash attachment. And, the patent pending martingale closure tightens slightly across the chest and shoulder blades when your dog attempts to pull forward. Measure your dog around the rib cage to determine proper fit. 12"-16" Girth = Petite (Teacup breeds), 15"-20" Girth = Small (Jack Russels, Shelties, etc.), 20"-28" Girth = Medium (Border Collies, Spaniels, etc.), 26"-36" Girth = Large (Labs, Goldens, Rotties, etc.). 34"-46" Girth = X-Large (Giant breeds). 'TWEENER SIZES ARE NOW AVAILABLE! Does your dog fall in between 2 sizes? Check out our "in-between" sizes for that perfect fit! 14"-18" = Petite/Small, 19"-25" = Small/Medium and 22.5"-34" = Medium/Large. Available in Red, Black or Pink.

4 out of 5 stars Easy Walk harness   November 5, 2009

My young Boston Terrier was a real chore to walk...pulling and tugging on the leash. I have two other dogs, so walking them all each day was hard...until the easy walk harness! I highly recommend this harness!

1 out of 5 stars works great - breaks fast   November 5, 2009

This one only lasted 2 weeks. Oh yeah, it stopped my dog from pulling right away but the buckle cuts into the strap slicing in in two. This is the third one and each time the same result. I thought maybe this tweener size would fit better ... but it made no difference. My little 25 lb dog killed 'em all

4 out of 5 stars Stopped my dog from pulling!   September 11, 2009

This harness really works. In about a week, my dog was walking at heel. That doesn't mean everything went perfectly. A couple times, he was able to pull part way out of the harness. And it did rub a sore spot on his chest. I think these problems would be mitigated with the exact right size (which this company makes possible with between sizing).

2 out of 5 stars Stops the pulling...until my dog wiggles out of it   July 14, 2009
Boston Book Addict (Boston, Mass.)
This is the second easy walk harness I have owned. I had my first one fitted on my dog a couple of months ago at a dog boutique. It stopped the pulling until he was able to slip out of if and dashed like crazy across the park. My trainer suggested it was perhaps a size issue so I ordered this tweener size instead but despite tightening it to an almost restrictive amount my dog was still able to slip his front paws out. I know it's not a matter of having it on improperly because I've had both my trainer and other owners experienced with the product put it on him. I'm not sure how he does it but I don't trust this product alone. I really wanted to like this product since it got great recommendations for other pet owners but unfortunately my cockapoo tends to be a little too skilled at getting himself out. It seems to work for other dogs, but sadly not mine.

4 out of 5 stars Excellent training aid, not so good for anything else.   July 10, 2009

This helped me train my dog to heel off-leash. If you understand how to train your dog, this will be an amazingly helpful tool.

However, I found that the adjustments slip very easily. This caused the front chest strap to fall. If I pulled when it fell, I'd be pulling on my pups legs, making him trip.

You CANNOT use this as an everyday harness. It's not made so you can yank on a dog that is constantly pulling. If you do this, you'll run into the "my dog walks at an angle" problem, and find the straps loosening up all the time.

Also, a warning to people with dogs with deep chests relative to height i.e. Boston Terriers, Frenchies, Doxies, Pits, etc. Your dog won't fit the harness so well. It'll take a lot of adjustment, and you'll never get it the way the picture says you should, so don't even bother.
