I had been comparing dog booster/car seats for months and after much deliberation decided to give this one a try. I was skeptical because of the price but it works great!! The size medium is perfect for my 16 pound mini daschund and I feel better knowing she is restrained but can still lie comfortably or sit up and look out the window if she prefers. I did purchase a soft pad at a local pet store as the top of the seat is a nylon material that seemed cold to the touch in the winter (my dog is bare bellied), she actually snuggles up quite comfortably. There are considerably higher priced versions out there but this one works great!!!

Good value for the price. There are fancier, higher priced models, but this is excellent for the price. Protect your pet just like you would a child in a car seat. This is a great product, does what it advertises and is easy to install if you read the instructions (they ARE on the box). The straps must be installed tightly enough to work well. There are extra straps but they are designed for different seats (bucket vs. back seat) and they've made my small dogs calmer since they are safely strapped in but can still see out. Just don't leave your dog in the car in hot weather! Why not protect your pet from being hurled into the front seat or worse in an accident? (Pay attention to the sizes and weight limits.)
