I bought two of the Puppia harnesses and ordered a large for my 17lb. Bichon-Frise since that is what the size chart recommended. The harness fits around his belly area just fine (on the tightest fitting), but the neck is too large. I will keep the harnesses because they are well made and sturdy, but I do think the neck area should somehow be adjustable.

This seems like a great product but did not work for my dog. The neck opening is not adjustable and was too large for my dog (a yorkie). Her foot would some how get caught in the neck portion of the haness.

The Puppia harness is is great for my mini-dachshund. The soft, mesh material does not rub him, and no akward 'rings' on his chest like regular harness. The Puppia washes perfectly, and retains its shape an color even after numerous washes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
A Small Dog Must Have August 13, 2008

I have two dogs and they can be a handful! With these harnesses there is no worry about hurting the dog's neck when they get excited and want to run. They are cute and easy to wash and wear. I have a couple for each dog. They also made it easy for me to teach the pups 'paw'.
