Fits Its Purpose October 24, 2009 Lexi I have owned several different types of these pad holders, the original was a grated one with some catchy name like Dog Whizz or Whizz Dog and it had a white grate over it so the pee went onto the pad and the rest was able to be picked up off the grating. Problem was that dogs are like humans, and I can only leave it to your imagination as to how disgusting these things got. Eventually I picked up a pair of these. YES the dogs do track more pee around and they also, as with any pad, miss a bit at times, but on the other hand a messy poo means you just fold up the pad and dump it. Maintenance is much easier and they are very durable. I actually bought some more to limit accidents that were happening and also as I was going away I wanted to give one to the "babysitter" so she had one there when I would leave my three babies. I did but this small one but frankly it is TOO small I was not sure and luckily bought two medium and one small, none of my three (smallest is a mere 4.5kilos/10-11lbs) will go on it let alone use it. This was my fault though as I was unsure the size.
Works well! September 14, 2009 Molly (IL, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My pomeranian is about 1 1/2 and pad trained - this was a good solution for when she "misses the mark" so I don't ruin my wood floors! I saw on other reviews that their dogs wouldn't use it if they didn't start from the beginning being trained with it. My dog was slightly reluctant at first, but I took the top white piece off until she was used to the tray and then started putting the white piece on. It works great! It is for the smaller pads though-so if you use large ones you'll probably want a bigger holder.
Great For My Little Yorkie! June 9, 2009 SUSU (Midwest USA) I purchased this tray for my little "Puppy Mill" rescue. She is a 7 year old yorkie and has never had to go potty anywhere but her cage. I love the design of this tray, it holds the disposable pads very well. It is easy to clean (she misses the center sometimes). I ordered another one today to put in the bedroom at night. I would definately recommend this to anyone with a small dog that doesn't plan on running outside 20 times a day for a teaspoon of tinkle!
I wish I had known May 29, 2009 NANARANEY Being new at this whole puppy adventure I ordered this item - I didn't realize that you need to order specific size pads that are a little expensive. The tray itself is well made and I hope this works out.
Great idea! April 8, 2009 GBearJC (South Carolina, USA) I bought this for my best friend. She is thrilled & think it is the best idea she has seen since peanut butter & jelly! Since it will keep the pads from moving around & the tray itself will not be sliding around it will be a lot easier to clean. You can also sanitize the tray every time you change the pad which she loves it! She hates "icky" stuff so I thought this might help her better with the clean up. A doggie version of the litter box.
