Get a clicker and you are all set. March 14, 2009 Alice (Greensboro NC) Lots of good ideas. The clicker speeds learning in half the time. I got this for the energized Border-Collie Mix. Now even our very careful and sedate dog is learning quickly
Good, but nothing Google can't tell you December 4, 2008 S. Carey (Chicago) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book has good info, I bought it when I first got my dog, but it won't tell you anything you can't find out for free through Google.
I wouldn't buy this again.
Great book September 22, 2008 Shirley L. Frumkin (Los Angeles, CA) This book is wonderful! It has become my new best dog training book and I love it. The tricks are easy to understand and the book is well organized. And the best thing is that it works! Follow the directions and your dog too will be amazing to you, your family, and your friends.
Not sure if it is the book or if my pup is a genius!!! August 8, 2008 GA Girl (Georgia, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this book and the one for dummies. I love the format of this book, it has step by step instructions. They encourage you to introduce one trick at a time. My little pup - he is 5 months old knows so many tricks! He waves bye bye, gives high five, sits, lays, spins and is now hopping. The only trick he has had any trouble with is roll over. I can't wait to master the entire book!!!
The best dog training book I have ever owned!!!
Training for puppy April 6, 2008 Thomas W. Mccarty 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I was disappointed with the content of this book. I expected a step by step how to book based on the title. I subsequently ordered a book by Cesar Milan - dog whisperer, but still no how to tips.
