Product Description
It eats! It Oinks! It doesn't wear pants! This is one hungry piggy bank. Feed it a coin and watch as it devours the entire thing! Saving your money was never so easy and fun! The Hungry Bank literally "eats your money". The pig will chew and swallow your coins! Battery operated (not included). Measures approximately 6.5 inches X 4 inches X 4 inches.

4 out of 5 stars on the small size but very cute   August 12, 2009

Not sure how long it will last since I just got it but it is quite fun to feed the little piggy. My 5 year old loves earning his pennies, nickels and dimes for doing chores around the house and putting his coins in the pig seems to be a reward in itself. He says the pig is hungry and he needs to feed it. The pig is quite small however and the compartment to hold the coins is very very small. If you are looking to really use this as a savings bank I would recommend you buy something else. If you are like me and are using it to store small amounts of change that will be taken out on a regular basis to "buy" privileges (watching T.V., etc) then this would work out for that. It is easy to remove the money by opening a compartment under the pig. You just have to turn it off so the pig won't keep trying to eat. Sometimes when you turn the pig over some of the coins fall out through his mouth onto the floor so you have to be careful. The pig does make pig like noises. Not overly loud in my opinion. You can see the pig in action on youtube.
