Product Description
Protect yourself from dangerous dogs while cycling, walking, or jogging with the Ultrasonic Dog Repeller. It produces a high frequency sound that the human ear can not detect, yet it is able to deter vicious dogs without harming them. It's even safe enough to use for training dogs. To repel dogs, point unit directly at the dog and press the button for a few seconds. The ultrasonic sound should discourage the dog from approaching. Press the button for a longer period if necessary. Prime operating range is 5 to 6 feet, effective up to approximately 20 feet. Features a low battery indicator. Note: Do not use on human or within one foot range of a pet. Requires one 9 volt Alkaline battery.

They hate it when i push the button they shut right up now!! ..And i may buy another one for our camp now next summer so i don't have to bring it back and worth every weekend!! 4 out of 5 stars does the trick   November 16, 2009

basically, it works. i use if for my own dogs to keep them from barking at random sounds and neighbor dogs. they bark, i say stop, if they don't i push the botton and say stop at the same time. it took about a week for my saying stop to work almost every time and if it doesn't i only need to grab this thing, not even push the botton, and they get the idea. the only reason i didn't give it 5 is because i can't be sure it isn't actually hurting them. they cower away when i use it which bothers me a bit but as long as it doesn't seem to actually hurt them i guess it's ok. and like i said, i don't even really need to use it anymore.

THIS PRODUCTS WORKS!!
SOMETIMES MY HUGE PUPPY TENDS TO BARK ALOT AT NIGHT. MAYBE 5 MINUTES OR LESS BUT HIS BARK
IS EAR PIERCING. I SAT IN MY ROOM WHILE HE IN ANOTHER, PRESSED THE BUTTON AND COMPLETE SILENCE!
I ONLY USE THIS WHEN HE BARKS WANTING ATTENTION BECAUSE HE KNOWS IT'S TIME FOR BED FOR HIM AND ME.

5 out of 5 stars I LOVE THIS!!!   November 14, 2009
Kimberly Pemrich (PA)
WORKED ON THE FIRST DAY! WOW! I have a poodle who had a litter of pups and she felt as though she had to protect every one and everything from any noise made! She was driving us nuts with constant barking! She would bark at the neighbors like she was possessed! I tried sqiurting her with water guns locking her in her kennel ect. I didn't want to resort to a shock collar. When I saw this and it was so cheap I figured why not give it a try. It worked immediately! I set her up with things that would trigger her barking pressed the button and said hush. She would put her head down and quite immediately {That is not what my girl does! She is stubborn!) She now is best friends with the neighbor even letting her self be picked up. We still get an occasional 1 bark at certain triggers but not like before where she would bark and bark. Now I say hush and she stops without the dog repeller, She never would do that before she would just keep barking. As for the neighbors dogs you must be about 10 feet in order for it to be effective.

2 out of 5 stars Dog could care less   October 6, 2009

It did work on the first day we used it. It made the dog stop and look at us. After day one, the dog just ignored it. Even when we placed it next to the dog, the dog kept doing its thing.
